Background

Atlas Copco, a world-leading provider of industrial production solutions, has consistently dominated the market in screw compressors. Leybold, a vacuum technology solutions provider with nearly 170 years of history, was acquired by Atlas Copco. Recognizing significant growth in mobile users after implementing Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) globally, Atlas Copco decided to develop an official Chinese mobile website to optimize Leybold's B2B mobile user experience.

Challenge

In China, mobile user experience heavily influences consumer behavior. Atlas Copco understood that simply having responsive mobile websites was insufficient for Chinese B2B users, who have unique browsing habits shaped by China's distinct internet ecosystem. To succeed, multinational enterprises must collaborate with development teams experienced in localization to navigate China's digital landscape effectively.

Service & Solution

TMO Group developed an independent mobile web app for Leybold tailored to the Chinese market using Adobe Experience Manager. The focus was on localized UI/UX design optimization and channel development to align with the B2B nature of Leybold's business. The web app was designed to integrate seamlessly with promotional campaigns on China's social media platforms. Additionally, the design theme will be used globally by Atlas Copco to enhance mobile user experience across different markets
